Knowledge and student demographics are fluid, and so should be our educational techniques. Teaching to a diverse knowledge base, interest level, and academic focus requires educators to teach more creatively. I strive to develop curricula which engages students and teaches them to critically assess knowledge with respect to current issues in microbiology and health, science policy, and inclusion in STEM.
